🌼 Mother’s Day was celebrated across ACH Group’s residential care homes by honouring the love and guidance of all mums and mother figures, as well as reflecting on what it means to be loved and celebrated as a mother.

It was truly a special occasion, with delectable morning and afternoon teas, raising a glass of bubbles in awe of the adventures of motherhood.

🌸 It was a full ‘Mum is the word’ range of festivities at Highercombe! We were delighted at how many family members came to celebrate Mother’s Day with their mums. Gay won the raffle and took home a beautiful hamper. The social team prepared a little gift for each of the women, and everyone enjoyed some cupcakes decorated with melted chocolate, paired with a glass of bubbles.

🌸 At Kapara, among a Mother’s Day afternoon tea with delicious scones with jam and cream, we admired the beautiful flowers Mavis received from her daughter Tracey and family who live interstate. It was also a time of reflection and reminiscing about mothers and what they mean to us.

🌸 Leading up to Mother’s Day, residents at Colton Court joined a craft afternoon while decorating pot plants, and on the day, a delicious spread of sandwiches and cupcakes was enjoyed.
